121 ☆ getting emotional over Pokemon I don't even like

Someone on social media shared this site where you can record your favorite Pokemon and a sentence about why it's your favorite, and you can browse everyone's comments and see the stats, and it's sooo cute reading everyone's remarks and see which Pokemon they picked. I just saw a submission from someone who as a child accidentally gave their Pupitar an Everstone and it never evolved into Tyranitar but they ended up bonding with their Pupitar, like why am I about to cry over thisssss 😭 Every Pokemon really IS someone's favorite...

Anyway it's a cute little site, you can sort the stats by Generation or Type and see how mainstream your faves really are sdfsjhfkjhs very happy to see Tinkaton dominating the Gen 9 ranking lol. I thought out of all my faves Jynx would be the least chosen, but I was surprised to see she has over 100 comments! Perk of being an OG I guess haha. I think Walking Wake currently has the least submissions of my favorites (under 100), put some respect on my man's name!!

So now I gotta ask, what's everyone's favorite Pokemon? I have a hard time picking a single favorite, there's just so many good little babies. 🥺

THAT IS SO CUTEEE i did giratina for mine just because platinum was my very first pokemon game and i got specifically for giratina. still one of my faves to this day and i had to get a plushie. i love normal form,,, chunky and big and friend shaped to me

i gotta check the gen 4 ones, im sure garchomp will be destroying rankings

edit: yeah garchomp is 2nd highest bahaha not surprised at all. giratina isn’t far either, when i first did mine it only had 60 something

aww that's so cute, I never imagined Giratina being plushie-able but I googled and there are indeed Giratina plushes. anybody can be made cuddly...

I feel like I'm out of touch with the Pokemon fandom, I just looked at Gen 4 stats and was surprised by Luxray in third?? I mean he's cute but I didn't realize he was that popular haha.

people love their big cats... (me included). it might just be because luxray is one of th very early encounters as shinx, and is a pretty solid pokemon; i end up keeping my own shinx for a long time

It's such a cute website! I'm very charmed.

My favourite Pokémon has been Bulbasaur ever since I first played Pokémon Red! I didn't know which starter I was going to pick when I went in, but I saw Bulbasaur's cute little sprite and was instantly enchanted. (And then I shouldered my way through the entire game using Bulby near-exclusively. Fire gym, you say? Maybe I should consider a water or ground type, you say? Screw you; I'm throwing an overlevelled Venusaur at you.)

Sandile is my second favourite for much the same reason! I got into a random encounter in White, saw my opponent was a little crocodile with a robber's mask and went 'holy shit, that's the cutest thing I've ever seen.'

I love Sableye because he's my adorable little gremlin son who has never done anything wrong in his life ♥ Mimikyu is my other favourite - a lil fairy ghost just like me!

I haven't seriously played Pokemon in forever, so my favorite is frozen in amber as Surskit. I have no special reason for this other than that it charms me immensely. And 180 people agree! Reading their comments is making my day :D

That's sooo cute! It was hard for me to choose between Chikorita, Lapras and Tyranitar, but I ended up going with Chikorita because she was my first starter!
